Non-NHS services

The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide. These include private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, private prescriptions and some vaccination services, or blood tests including those for employment purposes. Please ask the Reception Staff for the current fees for these services. Please be advised that Doctors and Nurses CANNOT countersign passport forms.

Fees for any non NHS work

We ask that patients bring the correct monies with them when attending as we do not hold any cash on the premises, nor do we have a card machine. Payment for vaccinations must be made to the reception team before you see the Nurse. A receipt will be issued on receipt of payment for any of these services

There is a £100 fee for HGV and Taxi medicals.

Adoption/Fostering medicals are charged at £78.44. (As per the Local Borough)

Travel  vaccinations  such as Meningitis ACWY for Haj have a fee attached, for patients aged over 25 this is a £25 for the injection and for all patients there is a £15 fee, per person, for the mandatory certificate.

Hepatitis B (for travel or occupational purposes)  fees for patients over the age of 18: £55 first dose, (including administration fee) £30 for each of the second and third doses. You will also need a blood test which is chargeable and is done at  Queen Elizabeth Hospital (fee unknown). Any subsequent boosters are £30 and again the blood test will have a fee attached

Malaria – scripts are £25 per person and then will occur a charge at the chemist usually per tablet. These scripts are issued by the Practice Nurse following a consultations

MMR vaccinations for any patient aged over 25 is £25 per dose (usually 2 doses)

There is a chargeable fee for occupational blood tests as determined by the hospital.
